Philippe NEY appointed president of the CNPD: recognising his expertise in addressing tomorrow’s digital challenges

A Partner of KLEYR GRASSO since 2017, Philippe NEY joined the firm in 2010 after spending four years with a leading international law firm in Luxembourg. For more than fifteen years, he has advised Luxembourg and international businesses on their most complex employment and data protection matters. His experience includes major corporate restructurings, collective bargaining negotiations, high-stakes employment disputes, GDPR compliance projects and the management of personal data incidents.

He has played a key role in the growth and development of KLEYR GRASSO’s Employment & Social practice, which is widely recognised as one of the leading employment law teams in Luxembourg. At the same time, he has become one of the firm’s leading practitioners in data protection, regularly assisting clients with CNPD audits, compliance programmes, data breach management and data subjects’ rights requests.

Since 2024, Philippe NEY has also served on the firm’s Management Committee alongside François COLLOT, Managing Partner, and Renata JOKUBAUSKAITE, Partner, contributing actively to the firm’s development and strategic direction.
