Telework of cross-border workers: extension of the transitional period for social security until 30 June 2023
Following the recommendations of the European Commission, the Ministry of Social Security[1] extends the transitional period set up last June in social security matter.
Therefore, until 30 June 2023, cross-border workers are allowed to telework without changing of their social security affiliation if they reach or exceed the 25% threshold provided for by European legislation.
Please note that the tax thresholds are not affected and remain applicable.
