KLEYR GRASSO announces major promotions effective January 1, 2024
KLEYR GRASSO is pleased to announce the promotion of ten outstanding individuals within its ranks. Effective January 1, 2024, the promotions mark a significant step in the firm's growth strategy and commitment to providing top-tier legal services. The newly promoted lawyers bring diverse skills and experiences to their respective roles, further enriching the firm's capabilities across all practice areas.

Promoted as Partner
Jérôme BUREL is a Partner in the Corporate Finance and M&A department. Jérôme has over 18 years of experience in Luxembourg corporate law, specialising in restructuring operations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. Additionally, he regularly advises boards of managers and senior management on corporate governance issues. Having been involved in major international insolvency proceedings early in his career, Jérôme's experience also extends to the corporate and transactional aspects of the insurance and reinsurance sector. Jérôme is a member of the Luxembourg legal group of the British Chamber of Commerce.
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2005, he joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
Emilie WATY is a Partner in the Corporate Finance Litigation department. Specialising in commercial, banking and finance litigation, Emilie boasts 18 years of experience in complex multi-jurisdictional and cross-border cases. Her expertise extends to debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, including attachment proceedings and exequatur of foreign court decisions and arbitral awards, as well as insolvency matters and corporate litigation such as shareholders’ disputes. She is a member of ALJB (the Luxembourg Banking and Financial Law Association) and LILLA (the Ladies in Law Luxembourg Association).
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2006, she joined KLEYR GRASSO in 2012.
Fanny MAZEAUD is a Partner in the Real Estate department. For 18 years, Fanny developed a seasoned experience in civil and real estate litigation. She also specialises in leaseholds. Fanny is a lecturer for the Cours Complémentaires en Droit Luxembourgeois (CCDL), and teaching adjunct at the University of Luxembourg. She regularly gives lectures at the House of Training and IFE. Fanny received the certificate for mediator consultant from the European Institute of Social Relations. She is also a founding member of the editorial committee of the Revue Luxembourgeoise de Droit Immobilier and a member of the Association Capitant She contributes to publications related to the real estate industry in Luxembourg and is the author of a reference book in leaseholds “Manuel du contrat de bail en droit luxembourgeois” published by Larcier.
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2006, she joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
Christophe NEY is a Partner in the Employment and Social department. With a specialisation in employment law and data protection, Christophe has over 15 years of experience in Luxembourg. He offers comprehensive advice on employment law and GDPR matters. Christophe is also a lecturer at the House of Training (Chamber of Commerce).
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2009, he joined KLEYR GRASSO in 2011.
Promoted as Counsels
Vincent ALLENO is a Counsel in the Corporate Finance Litigation department. Vincent brings over 15 years of experience in commercial and corporate litigation, including shareholders’ disputes in Luxembourg. He also assists clients in banking and finance litigation and insolvency proceedings. He is a member of ALJB (the Luxembourg Banking and Financial Law Association) and ALMJ (the Association Luxembourgeoise des mandataires de justice).
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008, he joined KLEYR GRASSO in 2021.
Katia BARTHOLOMÉ is a Counsel in the Corporate Finance and M&A department. Katia advises on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including restructuring operations, corporate finance, and private equity. She frequently assists clients on corporate governance matters.
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2009, she joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
Marie GUEBELS is a Counsel in the Employment and Social department. Marie, with over 12 years of expertise in employment law excels in drafting, in negotiating employment contracts, dismissal letters, and settlement agreements. She also defends clients before the Luxembourgish courts regarding employment and labour law. She is a member of E.L.S.A. (the Employment Law Specialists Association) and a lecturer at the House of Training (Chamber of Commerce).
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2011, she joined KLEYR GRASSO in 2017.
Promoted as Senior Associates
Nora DUPONT is a Senior Associate in the Tort and Criminal Law department. Nora assists individuals and corporations in various criminal matters, local and cross-border investigations, with a focus on white collar crime. She is also a member of CCBE (the Criminal law commission of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe), WWCDA (the Women’s White Collar Defense Association), and ALAP (the Association Luxembourgeoise des Avocats Pénalistes A.s.b.l.).
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018, she joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
Olivier GOERES is a Senior Associate in the Employment and Social department. Olivier has over 5 years of experience in Luxembourg's social and labour law. He focuses on drafting employment contracts, terminations and negotiating settlement agreements and also represents clients in disputes before the labour courts. Additionally, he is a lecturer at the House of Training.
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018, he joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
Julie TOURNAY is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Finance and M&A department. Julie has over 5 years of experience, which encompasses mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing operations, corporate governance and liability matters.
Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018, she joined KLEYR GRASSO that same year.
