KLEYR GRASSO reinforces its commercial and civil litigation practice with the arrival of Muriel PIQUARD as Counsel.
As of 1 February 2023, KLEYR GRASSO welcomes Muriel PIQUARD, Avocat à la Cour, as Counsel in the Commercial and Civil litigation practice.
She will join the team around Henry DE RON (Partner in civil and commercial litigation) and will focus her practice on disputes related to commercial and civil law matters, including liability law. Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2011, Muriel has a strong experience in various areas of law in Luxembourg, in particular in civil and commercial law, litigation, and employment law. She is also part of the German Desk providing a dedicated offering to German and German-speaking clients from the D-A-CH region.
She regularly assists international and local clients in negotiating and setting-up contracts and further advises on pre-contentious matters, including cross-border aspects. She has in-depth expertise in negotiating settlement agreements and represents clients within court proceedings if no extrajudicial solution can be found. Prior to joining KLEYR GRASSO, she was a Legal Director in a leading Luxembourg law firm.
She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law (2008-2010) from the University of Paris XI and a Bachelor in Private Law from the University of Nancy.
