Telework of French cross-border workers: extension of social security agreements
Luxembourg has agreed to extend the agreements on social security with France until 15 November 2021[1].
As a reminder, the agreement on social security agreed with Belgium is in force until 31 December 2021[2].
Thus, the days of telework performed continue not to be taken into account for the determination of the social security legislation applicable in order to avoid a change of affiliation in the event of the 25% threshold is exceeded in accordance with European provisions.

Télétravail des frontaliers français : prolongation de l’accord en matière de sécurité sociale
Le Luxembourg a convenu de proroger avec la France l’accord en matière de sécurité sociale jusqu’au 15 novembre 2021[1].
Pour rappel, l’accord en matière de sécurité sociale convenu avec la Belgique est applicable jusqu’au 31 décembre 2021[2].
Par conséquent, les jours de télétravail effectués continuent à ne pas être pris en compte pour la détermination de la législation de sécurité sociale applicable aux travailleurs afin d’éviter un changement d’affiliation en cas d’atteinte ou de dépassement du seuil des 25% conformément aux dispositions européennes.

Telearbeit französischer Grenzpendler: Verlängerung der Vereinbarung für die sozialversicherungsrechtliche Behandlung
Die Vereinbarung zwischen Luxemburg und Frankreich im Bereich der Sozialversicherung wurde bis zum 15. November 2021 verlängert [1].
Zur Erinnerung: die diesbezügliche Vereinbarung mit Belgien läuft am 31. Dezember 2021 aus[2].
Mithin werden für die Feststellung der Sozialversicherungspflicht die Tage der Telearbeit weiterhin nicht in Betracht gezogen, um eine Verlagerung der Sozialversicherungspflicht bei Erreichen oder Überschreiten der 25 % im Rahmen der europäischen Vorgaben zu verhindern.
